Here's a list of some of the things I bought lately that I'm loving!
Note: nothing is really new here - I'm a little slow to catch on to new products - but they are all great nonetheless! Hopefully you'll come across something you haven't seen before or have been considering buying.

I bought a pair of these shoes a couple weeks ago and they've been great. I've always been guilty of just slipping on sandals before heading out the door because actually finding socks and lacing up shoes seemed like too much work for me...but after forcing myself to wear these and some flats in my closet, i'm finding that my outfits are definitely looking better and my feet aren't suffering as much from those long walks on campus. Also, they're perfect for longboarding! Warning: lots of colors to choose from. Try to choose a color that looks good with most of your outfits even if it doesn't actually match. ($44.99)

I almost never paint my finger nails, but my toes are virtually always covered. I'm usually a fan of bright or light colors for my nails and always looking for new ones - usually on the cheaper side, but on this color, I decided to splurge. It was still only $8, so it really isn't bad at all, and definitely worth it. The color stayed on and never chipped once. And this color is adorable! Not too bright, not too boring...just nice and minty. I think it's perfect for any time of year.

Eyeliner is yet another thing I'm cheap about, but because every single pencil I've tried has made the line under my eyes disappear within an hour and smudge all over the place, I decided to do some research for the best solution. I tried Urban Decay's 24/7 pencil, and it's worked great so far. I thought I was going to have to use a primer, but this stuff has stayed on pretty well. Definitely recommended if you have the same problem I did. ($19)

My most recent purchase. Even though I use vaseline on my lips daily and have tried countless chap sticks and lip glosses, my lips have always been chapped. I wanted something that wasn't just plain chap stick, but something with a little color as well - but it seemed like anything with color left my lips worse off than they were before. I found this just last week and I'm already considering buying another color! It's exactly what I wanted - something that keeps my lips hydrated and shiny for hours but also has a hint of color. I decided on Rhubarb, a red - it came out as a hint of red but not too dark at all. I'll probably pick up a pinkish color soon. ($5)
