Cat faces

Frequently, I send pictures of my cat to my friends' phones. Most of the time, the caption is something similar to "lol look at his face!" Most of my friends understand and appreciate this, all except for one - my boyfriend. He doesn't understand that my cat has hilarious and listless facial expressions depending on the situation or what mood he's in. Here's my attempt to explain, through several pictures of my own cat, Gladstone. Enjoy.

This is Gladstone's chill face. It means he's chilling, possibly judging you, and probably isn't up for cuddling. If he could talk, I believe he would be saying something along the lines of "sup?"

His sweet and cuddly face. This doesn't last long, but it's nice when it does. Take advantage of this as much as possible before bites ensue from over-snuggling.

 His quit-surfing-the-internet-and-pay-attention-to-me-i'm-bored face.

His perfectly content face - obviously.

 His annoyed-at-this-stupid-feather-thing-in-my-face face.

His dreamy face. Another moment to take advantage of with snuggling.

 Another bored and tired face.

...This one I might have done on my own. But it makes me laugh every time.

His official derp face. Every now and then he forgets and leaves his tongue out.

His what-are-you-doing/what-are-you-staring-at face. In a box.

The conspiracy cat face. Or he might have just heard a mysterious sound somewhere or saw something move.

Another derp face. Because there can't ever be too many cat derp faces to share.

Here's a list of some of the things I bought lately that I'm loving!
Note: nothing is really new here - I'm a little slow to catch on to new products - but they are all great nonetheless! Hopefully you'll come across something you haven't seen before or have been considering buying.

I bought a pair of these shoes a couple weeks ago and they've been great. I've always been guilty of just slipping on sandals before heading out the door because actually finding socks and lacing up shoes seemed like too much work for me...but after forcing myself to wear these and some flats in my closet, i'm finding that my outfits are definitely looking better and my feet aren't suffering as much from those long walks on campus. Also, they're perfect for longboarding! Warning: lots of colors to choose from. Try to choose a color that looks good with most of your outfits even if it doesn't actually match. ($44.99)

I almost never paint my finger nails, but my toes are virtually always covered. I'm usually a fan of bright or light colors for my nails and always looking for new ones - usually on the cheaper side, but on this color, I decided to splurge. It was still only $8, so it really isn't bad at all, and definitely worth it. The color stayed on and never chipped once. And this color is adorable! Not too bright, not too boring...just nice and minty. I think it's perfect for any time of year.

Eyeliner is yet another thing I'm cheap about, but because every single pencil I've tried has made the line under my eyes disappear within an hour and smudge all over the place, I decided to do some research for the best solution. I tried Urban Decay's 24/7 pencil, and it's worked great so far. I thought I was going to have to use a primer, but this stuff has stayed on pretty well. Definitely recommended if you have the same problem I did. ($19)

My most recent purchase. Even though I use vaseline on my lips daily and have tried countless chap sticks and lip glosses, my lips have always been chapped. I wanted something that wasn't just plain chap stick, but something with a little color as well - but it seemed like anything with color left my lips worse off than they were before. I found this just last week and I'm already considering buying another color! It's exactly what I wanted - something that keeps my lips hydrated and shiny for hours but also has a hint of color. I decided on Rhubarb, a red - it came out as a hint of red but not too dark at all. I'll probably pick up a pinkish color soon. ($5)

I love lingerie!

I love lingerie! Whether you're wearing it for someone special or just to feel sexy under your clothes, I think sexy lingerie is something every girl should have. I love comfy cotton underwear and bras, but I love having a couple pairs of these around, too.
I put together a list of pictures i've found on Tumblr and Pinterest. Sadly, no links to the actual bras - but I included a Polyvore collage at the bottom with some other sexy pieces I found.
I love lace - it's probably my favorite thing on bras. I used to think fully laced bras wouldn't be supportive enough, but after buying one I realized they're just as supportive as any other padless bra, just...a little more see-through. But as long as your shirt isn't see-through or if you're wearing double layers of shirts, it's perfectly fine!

Polka dots! I also like how it kind of has a gothic vibe to it.

Purple has always been my favorite color - any shade of it. I love the lacy flowers, too...and how it's like a mini-corset. Beautiful.

These might be my favorites...so sexy and cute! I love old-fashioned lingerie, and these definitely have a vintage feel to them with the lace and corset fit. Can't go wrong with black or white lingerie, either.
