Intriguing reads

Books I am interested in reading right now:

Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas - Hunter S. Thompson
Oryx & Crake - Margaret Atwood
Ulysses - James Joyce
1984 - George Orwell
Oscar & Lucinda - Peter Carey
Great Expectations - Charles Dickens
The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho
The Man Who Sold his Ferrari - Robin Sharma
Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte
Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte
He's Just Not That Into You - Greg Behrendt & Liz Tuccillo

Has anyone read any of these? Any suggestions for other good books?

  1. Hey, so, I'm also a journalism student at UF. And, I have to say that I love your blog.

I've read several of those books. Wuthering Heights is amazing. "He's Just Not that Into You" had me questioning every relationship ever. I've also read "1984" and "Jane Eyre." Both are great books, but not my favorites.

    As for suggestions:

    -Fight Club
    -White Oleander
-The Secrets of a Fire King
    -The Lake of Dead Languages
    -How to Breathe Underwater
-Somebody Told Me (I noticed you posted an article by Bragg. If you weren't required to read this, you should)
    -Einstein's Dreams
